Urinary Incontinencia in castrated dogs

The incontinencia by hormonal deficit (hipoestrogenismo) in dogs castrated of but of 20 kilos is one of the causes but frequent of the loss of it tinkles.
This is because the sexual hormones reinforce the stimulus of the neurogénicos receivers (adrenérgicos) that maintain the closed internal vesical sphincter during the phase of filling of vejiga that is generally greater during the night, then when having under estrogens the sphincter is but relajadito and is escape of tinkles during the rest.
Near the 85 to 90% of the cases they respond to the medical treatment successfully:

• Hormonal (eye! To consider that have to infections tracto genital, tumors dependent estrogen and coagulopatías, to low doses in general these adverse effects do not appear)
• Antihistamine but Efedrina or Seudoefedrina (ej: nastizol, adverse effects not as risky as the hormonal ones, comes in comp. and in nasal drops, it is the novel treatment but)
  

From all ways the professional will have to arrive at the diagnosis from incompetencia from the sphincter by hormonal deficit by the anamnesis (clinical history) and by the discarding of other pathologies that produce he himself clinical sign (infections, malformations, tumors, neurological alterations, calculations, etc?) therefore will have to resort to their Veterinary Doctor to confirm or to discard the cause of the loss of tinkles.
