Enteropatías inflammatory
The inflammatory enteropatías are a group of chronic gastrointestinales alterations characterized by the presence of inflammatory cells in the intestinal wall, the inflammatory injuries can be present in stomach, thin intestine or colon, or a combination of the three. Several types of the enteropatías, most frequent exist are:
* Linfocítica-plásmocítica Enteritis
* Eosinofílica Enteritis
* Intestinal Linfangiectasia
* Granulomatosa Enteritis
The cause of the disease (etiopatogenia) does not know very well but as much the genetic component as the environmental one (immunological, dietetic, infectious and even psychological) is key for their development. There is predisposition of racial or sexual no age.
The main clinical signs very are varied:
* Chronic Diarrea with voluminous lees of pale color with or without blood presence
* Loss of weight in spite of the greater nourishing ingestion
* Chronic and intermittent episodes of abdominal pain where anorexy appears
It was arrived at the presuntivo diagnosis once discarded the intestinal parasitism and the exócrina pancreática insufficiency, will be of utility complementary tests, but to establish a sera definitive diagnosis necessary to make a endoscópica exploration of the thin intestine and a histopatológico study of weaves obtained by means of intestinal biopsy. The pathologists thanks to the biopsy will be able to classify the pathology, to identify their degree of evolution and with base in these parameters, to emit a more accurate prognosis to the tutor of the mascot.
The main treatment is based on two pillars:
* Farmacológico: Inmunomoduladores: sulfasalazina and corticoids
* Antibiotics: ej. metronidazol
* Dietoterapia (fiber and fat diets hypoallergic, digestibles, highly low)
