the cat and the tiger
The felines constitute the amplest family of the order of the Carnivores, and in spite of the remarkable existing differences of size between some species, they form a quite homogenous group, and that means that, for example, between a cat and a tiger there are substantial no anatomical differences and of temperament.
Generally the male felines are more robust and have the head more massive than
the females, but aside from that, the sexual dimorphism is not very well-known, excepting the lion that distinguishes itself of the female by its profuse melena.
Its feeding almost exclusively carnivorous, is made up of vertebrates of variable dimensions from a ratoncito to a buffalo, in addition moluscos and insects, when ingesting the stomachs of the herbívoros incorporate something of fiber to their diet, but the vegetable ingestion has like purpose of causing the vomit and of facilitating the elimination of the hairs ingested during the hygiene or of other substances nondigested.
In addition to magnificent travellers, the felines are quickest runners, very fast in the exit but little resistant in long distances, for that reason its technique of hunting is the watching. They wait for hidden the prey or they approach to him quiet soon to rush itself on her from close, if this one flees to the first assault, persecute it only by a brief stretch and soon they stop, not being able to compete as far as resistance. The only partial exception is guepardo - quickest of the terrestrial animals, that is able to surpass the 100 km/h to the race.
