The action of the cat's movement, either walking, trotting or running (the cat does not run long races because it gets tired very easily, no more than two or three blocks but when it runs, it does over 27,96 miles per hour). It is no possible to refute that when a person is observing a feline in movement makes him think about the agility, majesty, sobriety making a fascination in the observer just like specie of animal magnetism.
The movement in animals such as the dogs, horse or any other animal is produced as following; first the animal moves its left anterior limb and at the same time it moves the right posterior limb or the other way around, it starts the movement with the right anterior limb and at the same time it moves its right posterior limb, what implies a limb of one side and another limb of the other side; usually, it starts the movement from the left side, but it can do it from the right side.
The domestic cat moves its limbs of only one side at the time, that's to say that it moves the anterior and posterior limb of the same side and then the limbs of the other side. This movement is exclusively of the domestic cat, how ever the other felines move in the same way as the other animals, with the exception of the camel and the giraffe that move in the same way that the domestic cat.
Another factor is given by a skin muscle that covers all its body, being one the bigger muscles of its body, giving to the cat a great elasticity and flexibility.
The cat skeleton is composed by 233 bones (more than the human that has 206). The cat does not have collar bone which reduces the agility, the scapulohumeral articulation allows it to move its anterior limb in almost any direction and the presence of more than 500 muscles allow the bones a great variety of movements, besides the cat's quite developed balance and reflexes make the domestic feline to have movements almost perfects that when someone see those movements remains captivated and fascinated.
