Colorpoint

 
It is the race within which the American feline registries place to the colors of red and atigrado base of varieties that in Great Britain are recognized like total Siamese; in America, the atigrados ones commonly it is known them like lynx point. In agreement with the Siamés type, this one is a cat of medium size, refined and esbelto of long lines that are narrowed in the end, very agile but muscular.
The wedge of the head approximately forms an equilateral triangle without change in moustaches, when these are smoothing backwards, the underlying bony structure is evident.

The marks of the points are just like for the Siamese: legs, tail ears and face mask, that does not have to extend until the stop of the head or towards the neck, but have to be united by means of lines to the ears. The lynx points must have the typical atigradas marks in the mask, lined ears with paler mark of ?thumb?, legs and the tail ringed with the dark end. The points tortie ideally have the points with speckling uniforms. As much in the lynx as in the tortie bordering or speckling is allowed tenuous on the body, specially in cats of greater age.

Body: Of medium size, long and esbelto; a combination of thin bones and firm muscles. Shoulders and hips continue the impeccable lines of a tubular body. The hips never are wider than shoulders; firm abdomen. Long and fine legs, the back higher than the advantages; delicate, small and oval claws; long and narrower tail towards the end.

Head: A long wedge that is narrowed towards the end, of medium size, in proportion with the body; the complete wedge begins in the nose and it is curved outwards in line straight towards the ends of the ears.

Eyes: Almendrados. Inclined towards the nose in harmony with the outlines of the wedge formed by the head and the ears; of alive blue a deep one.

Coat: Short, of fine texture, bright and patch to the body.

Colors: Marks of dark color in the ends Siamés type on pale corporal colors in red, cream; points of pattern of lynx (atigrado) in seal, chocolate, blue, red lila and cream; patterns tortie in seal, chocolate, blue cream and lila cream; points lynx tortie in seal, chocolate, blue cream and lila cream.
