Burmilla

The Burmilla is a British race that is between the Burman and the Briton of Short Hair, that began with the fortuitous mating between a Lila Burman and a Chinchilla.

It has the type of head and body of the Burman cat and any tendency towards Siamese him or the rechonchez of the Briton of Short Hair is imperfections.

The inherited coat of the Chinchilla, is punteado or shaded, both intensities of punteado is equally acceptable, and the uniformity of the shaded one is more important that if intensity. It must have a mark ?M? in the forehead, lines that run from the outer edges of the eyes and outlines like of pencil on the cheeks, but the shaded one of the body must be free of atigradas spots as much as it is possible, with a denser color throughout the thorn and in the tail, that to disper itself gradually until being clearest possible in the inferior parts. The tail must be noticeable with incompletos ring and with the dark end, the legs slightly lined, and a slight one speckled in the belly is allowed. The eyes must be well formed like those of the Chinchilla, with the visible skin matching with the color of the coat.

Body: Of length and average thickness, with firm muscles, a straight back and a generous and nonout of proportion chest; legs of medium length, the back slightly longer than the advantages, claws of oval form; tail of medium to long, of wide means, that are narrowed slightly towards the cleared end.

Head: It is a short wedge with a noticeable cut of nose that manifest of profile, amplitude between the ears that are of medium to great, of cleared end and continues the angle of the superior part of the face to produce from the front, the contour of the wing of a butterfly.

Eyes: Great, well separated and of Eastern positioning slightly, but neither almendrados nor round; in color from yellow to chartreuse, except in the cats of silverplated coat for which the green one is preferred.

Coat: Short, fine and patch to the body, small tufts in the ears are accepted.

Colors: Black, blue, chocolate, lila, reddish, caramel, apricot, cream; black, blue tortie, chocolate, lila or caramel, brown silver.
