Scottish Fold long hair
The Feline Association the International (AFI) recognized the Scottish Fold of Long Hair, but it is the only organism of registry that accepts it, although he has been bred as much in Britain as in the United States.
The race has its origin in a kitten of ears fallen of a litter of cats with normal ears born in a farm of Scotland, from which the Scottish Fold of Short Hair was developed and comes from he himself lineage that these last ones with one appears similar but, of course, with long coat. It is a cat of medium size, with a robust body, cleared well and uniforms, that has a round head of prominent cheeks on the short neck. The ears, placed to nose cap way let see a round skull. They are comparativily small and they are doubled towards the front and down. The smallest ear with a formed affluent doblez is preferred, to a great one of loose doblez. When being born it has the raised ears and the fall does not begin to notice until the kittens turn a month approximately.
It is accepted in an ample range of colors. The color of the eyes must be appropriate to the dominant color of the coat.
Body: Of medium size, cleared, without no thickening of the legs or the tail. A long tail is preferred that is narrowed towards the end. Clear claws with cleared fingers affluent.
Head: Cleared well, of firm chin and jaws; the pads of moustaches affluent cleared short Nose. Small ears of ends cleared, doubled and to the front downwards.
Eyes: Great, cleared well and separated by the wide nose, very open and of sweet expression.
Coat: Smooth, dense and plush, so populated that it excels of the body.
Colors: Any coat and color gatuno except chocolate and lavanda (lila) and those of darker points Siamés type.
